List XML Elements (XML) is a free, web-based tool designed to run in a browser window. It is easy to use, designed to search elements and attributes within an XML document, either hosted at a web address or uploaded from the user's files.

Users may set list options via criteria such as unique element names, element tree structure, attributes or elements containing elements. The tool’s processing is slowed somewhat as text size increases, but within acceptable limits and without impacting its utility. The output formats for this tool include XML Tree and tab delimited.

This tool has only a few problems. When the tab delimited output is selected, the tool may not process some characters correctly; please see List Words (Plain Text) for examples. In addition, when the output is set to XML Tree, this tool frequently produces an XML parsing error.

Despite these issue, List XML Elements (XML) is an effective way to see the elements, attributes or structure of an XML document.
