DériF (Dérivation en Français) is a free, web based morphological analyzer for French. It lemmatizes a text and labels each lemma, out of context, with a grammatical category (noun, verb, adjective, etc.).

Creator(s): CNRTL (Centre National de Ressources Textuelles et Lexicales)
DériF is not a lemmatizer, but a rule-based morphosemantic analyser for French, i.e. it provides both derived and compounds words with their complete morphological analysis. DériF's input must be a POS tagged lemma X. DériF's output is a morphological description of X, including :
its set of ancestors (= its 'direct' morphological family)
