Sumo Paint

Sumo Paint is a free online Flash-based image editor that works in a web browser, without needing to install anything on your device. It has functionality similar to Photoshop and offers many of the same tools but is focused on illustration rather than photo editing. Sumo Paint offers community features such as uploading, commenting, and rating images for users who create free accounts. The paid pro version of the software features a downloadable version of the software which runs on Adobe AIR. Sumo API allows you to embed Sumo Apps to your site. You can integrate Sumo API for free for non-commercial use. Paid subscriptions allow access to the downloadable editor, increased image resolution, enhanced customer support, and early access to new features. Sumo is planning on releasing a photo editor in the near future.

Alveo

Alveo is a platform for data discovery and analysis focused on communication data such as speech, text or video. Developed by the University of Western Sydney, researchers can use the Alveo infrastructure to store data, create collections, develop workflows, and analyze datasets with Alveo's built-in tools. The tools available span multiple disciplines and include common functions such as tokenization and concordance, plus interfaces between Alveo and other common analysis tools such as Apache's UIMA for NLP, and with programming languages such as Python and Java. Users can segmented and recombined data from multiple collections into a new, focused dataset for close analysis. Collection creators can set their own license and access rights, and users of a collection must accept the creator's conditions in order to use data from it. User accounts are free, but must be requested from and approved by Alveo.
